Parish Mission Statement
The Parish Community of St. Catherine of Siena seeks to continue the mission of Christ in the world by proclaiming and celebrating the good news of Jesus Christ in our
midst.
- We gather together as a Eucharistic community in love and service for one another.
- We, as a community of believers are enriched through Scripture and the Sacraments enabling us to live the Word of God in our daily lives.
- We pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, for God’s guidance so that we may be effective in reaching out and serving others in our community.
In fulfilling this mission, we, the members of St. Catherine of Siena parish will grow in our spiritual relationship with God and one another.
On January 15th, 2011 the Connecticut Knights of Columbus will hold a Pro Life Mass in New Haven. In conjunction with the mass, the K of C sponsor a baby shower for unwed mothers. Oanaco of
Preston Council #6642 is asking for contributions that can be left in a marked box in front of the church. Items needed include: diapers, baby shampoo, blanket sleepers, stuffed animals and
crib sheets. The Knights thank you for your assistance!

Robert A. Pucel designed and produced a Commerative Golden Jubilee Booklet (1960-2010) for St. Catherine of
Siena’s 50th Anniversary. This booklet was distributed to all active members of the Parish. He provided our Parish with a PDF of the Anniversary Booklet for inclusion in our Website. Click the image at left to view the Booklet.
